About MBRF and the Role

This full-time role for a Sensorial Lab Analyst GF is based in Makkah, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring the sensorial quality of products and ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and measure the sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients against specifications.
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis.
• Train technical staff to disseminate sensorial knowledge and capture new sensorial analysis techniques.
• Conduct sensorial analysis for customer/consumer complaints related to products.
• Assist with sensorial demands from QA, R&D, and Production departments.
• Manage sensorial results and issue comprehensive reports.
• Support QA in elaborating sensorial testing plans and ensuring their fulfillment.
• Participate in meetings to address and correct non-conformances.
• Attend internal or external technical events related to sensorial analysis.
• Analyze received packaging materials and ingredients, maintain applicable certificates, and record required data.
• Perform evaluations of iconic products and client products, maintaining necessary data.
• Check the integrity and functionality of laboratory equipment.
• Perform trial sample evaluations in collaboration with the R&D Sensory team.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf-life samples.
• Develop and maintain an in-house sensory panel for finished product testing.
• Assist the R&D Sensory team in developing sensory specifications.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ensure adherence to the BRF Sustainability Plan, promoting compliance with ESG commitments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in sensorial analysis or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to verify and measure sensorial quality.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining laboratory procedures.
• Proficiency in managing and reporting sensorial results.
