Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is located near Masjid Al Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The hotel, spread across four towers, offers dining venues, retail outlets, a gym, an executive lounge, and meeting spaces. Guests can experience views of the Grand Mosque and a culinary selection including Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisines.

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Steward to join the Stewarding team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah. This is a full-time position.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment procedures, instructions, and controls.
• Ensure high standards of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed.
• Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by the direct supervisor, in accordance with established standards and schedules.
• Ensure the safe, correct, and economic use of stewarding equipment, including dishwashing machines, glass washing machines, pot washing machines, floor cleaning and maintenance machines, and silver burnishing machines.
• Clean and wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils in accordance with established hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Count, sort, and prepare operating equipment and other kitchen utensils for banquet functions, ensuring all kitchen equipment/utensils are maintained to high standards with minimum breakage.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will possess relevant experience and qualifications for a Steward role.
