The Role: Territory Manager, Orthopedics

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Territory Manager, Orthopedics for a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering Jeddah and Makkah. The primary objective of this role is to promote and achieve the strategic plan for Joint Revision within the Orthopedics segment. This position involves serving as a key company representative, providing direct customer support and clinical expertise in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical and technical support to surgeons in the operating room for orthopedic surgical cases.
• Advance Joint Reconstruction sales by serving as the primary company representative, attending surgeries, and ensuring proper equipment availability and functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues and apply independent judgment to address physician needs, manage customer requests, and handle hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to enhance solutions and support sales growth.
• Prepare sales reports and relevant documentation as required.
• Offer consultation to Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments.
• Manage the maintenance, tracking, and deployment of equipment and assets within the assigned territory to ensure product availability.
• Ensure all promotional materials are maintained professionally and that J&J Orthopedics services meet quality standards.
• Provide logistical support for instruments, implants, and equipment transfers between sales representatives and hospitals.

Qualifications and Experience

• University/bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• A scientific or medical academic background.
• Experience in the MedTech industry, with at least one year of experience specifically in Orthopedics.
• Experience within Orthopedics specialties such as Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, Spine, or Sports Medicine is preferred.
• Demonstrated inventory and logistics experience, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

Work Environment and Travel

This role requires significant travel, with an expectation of 80% or more travel within the assigned Makkah region. A valid driving license is essential for this position.
