About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dedicated Waiter / Waitress to join our team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals who are looking to advance their careers within the hospitality sector.

Role Overview

As a Waiter / Waitress, you will be responsible for providing professional service to our guests. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that every restaurant visit becomes a memorable dining experience through attentive and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the hotel's standard performance manual.
• Greet and seat customers, serving them in a professional, discreet, and personalized manner.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu of the assigned outlet to assist and provide advice to guests.
• Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverage being served.
• Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and ensure the upkeep of all service equipment.
• Manage all service preparations before, during, and after the service (mise-en-place and mise-en-scene).
• Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage of resources.
• Actively use up-selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a high-volume restaurant environment.
