We are currently seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

The Waiter/Waitress Position

The Waiter/Waitress plays a central role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This position involves direct interaction with guests, serving food and beverages, and coordinating with kitchen staff to maintain high service standards within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests efficiently and professionally.
• Set tables according to the specific event type and established service standards.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding menu selections, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team regarding menu questions, estimated wait times, re-cook orders, product availability, and any additional meal requirements, allergies, or dietary needs.
• Accurately record all transactions in the MICROS system at the point of order.
• Regularly check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas, including china, glass, and silverware, throughout the shift.
• Complete all assigned closing duties, such as restocking items and ensuring proper facility shutdown.
• Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments securely.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with colleagues using clear and professional language, develop and maintain positive working relationships, support the team in achieving common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality expectations and service standards.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• Work Experience: Candidates must have at least 1 year of related work experience in a similar role.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required.
