Role Overview: Director of Security

Four Seasons Hotel Madinah is seeking a Director of Security to lead and manage all safety and security operations. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and reports directly to the Director of Operations. The primary responsibility is to ensure a secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets, while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security department operations to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
• Lead, train, and manage the security team, ensuring adherence to hotel security policies and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update security protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, ensuring quick resolution.
• Manage surveillance systems and review footage for incident investigation and reporting.
• Ensure security policies are followed during hotel events, meetings, and guest activities.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations, particularly during large events or high-risk situations.
• Monitor and assess the security of hotel access points, parking areas, and public spaces.
• Prepare reports on security-related incidents, daily activities, and department performance metrics.
• Manage the department’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources, staffing, and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Director of Security or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality sector.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in security management.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a security team effectively.
