Procurement Officer

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, specifically within luxury hotel construction projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate commercial acumen, resilience, and strong organizational skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities and hands-on experience with SAP.

Role Overview

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for a leading main contractor. This position operates within a demanding, fast-track project environment, requiring proactive management of supply chains and close collaboration with various project teams to ensure alignment with specifications, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement of construction materials, FF&E-related packages, MEP, finishes, specialist works, and services.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure procurement activities are fully aligned with project specifications, budgets, and construction schedules.
• Proactively manage long-lead and critical items, identifying and mitigating potential supply risks.
• Collaborate closely with Project, Commercial, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting, and controls using SAP/ERP systems.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure strong supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in luxury hotels, 5-star hospitality, high-end residential, or similar high-specification projects.
• Strong knowledge of hotel construction materials, high-end finishes, MEP, and specialist packages.
• Excellent negotiation, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated proactivity, resilience, and high accountability, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver against demanding project timelines.

Experience and Location

This position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role is based in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time commitment. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
