Supervisor Systems

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Supervisor-Systems to join their team in Medina. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving computer software and systems. The role involves providing technical guidance and ensuring the smooth operation of telecommunications activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer software and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business problems.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements for systems.
• Operate computer and peripheral equipment by entering commands and activating controls.
• Troubleshoot, modify, support, manage, and maintain application programs and user accounts.
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions, and installation activities.
• Train or instruct users in the proper use of hardware or software.
• Manage and coordinate planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation for telecommunications activities, including client/server support and strategic planning.
• Consult with and advise others on administrative policies, technical problems, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Verify information visually and enter/locate information using computers/Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Undertake other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
