Senior SAM Developer

About the Role

TawanTech is seeking a Senior SAM Developer to join their team in Riyad Al Khabra, Al Qassim Province. This full-time role focuses on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions. The objective is to support effective software lifecycle management, ensure license compliance, optimize usage, and control costs across the organization.

Role Context and Collaboration

The Senior SAM Developer will work closely with various internal teams, including Software Asset Management, IT Operations, Procurement, IT Security, and Enterprise Architecture, as well as business stakeholders and external vendors. This collaboration is essential for translating business requirements into scalable and efficient ServiceNow SAM solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership throughout the entire SAM solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
• Implement and enhance SAM Professional capabilities based on business and compliance requirements.
• Configure software models, publishers, products, entitlements, license metrics, and software installations.
• Develop solutions for software license compliance, reconciliation, optimization, and software lifecycle management.
• Configure workflows, approvals, business rules, notifications, and automation supporting SAM processes.
• Develop and maintain custom applications, scripts, UI components, and platform configurations as required.
• Ensure solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices and minimize unnecessary customization.
• Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and ensure SAM customizations remain upgrade-safe.

Solution Lifecycle Leadership

This position requires providing technical leadership across the full SAM solution lifecycle. This includes requirements analysis, solution design, platform configuration, development, integrations, automation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives for ServiceNow SAM solutions.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Professional and ServiceNow platform development. A solid understanding of software entitlement and licensing concepts, integrations, workflows, and automation is also required.
