Junior Accounting Intern – Odoo ERP System

Role Summary

We are looking for a recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration to join the finance team through a paid internship program.

The intern will receive practical training on accounting operations using the Odoo ERP system, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance, commitment, and successful completion of the internship period.

Success in this role involves developing a good understanding of daily accounting operations, accurately recording transactions, efficiently using the Odoo system, and supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate and reliable financial records.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training on Odoo accounting system and its associated modules.

• Record customer invoices, vendor invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Assist with customer and vendor account transactions.

• Support bank reconciliation, cash, and payment method transactions.

• Enter and review accounting transactions related to inventory.

• Maintain accuracy of financial records and supporting documents.

• Assist in performing daily accounting and administrative tasks.

• Adhere to financial procedures and internal accounting controls.

• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Finance departments.

• Prepare basic reports and account reconciliations under supervision.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

• Recent graduate or with limited work experience.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

• Strong interest in accounting systems and ERP software.

• Good skills in using Microsoft Excel.

• Accuracy, attention to detail, and good numerical ability.

• Ability to learn quickly and adhere to procedures.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.

• Previous knowledge of Odoo is an advantage, but not a requirement.
