About the Role

SRG Mining is seeking an HSE Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, site-based position requiring 2-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE practices at exploration sites and camps.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices at exploration sites and camps.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analyses (JSA) for field activities, including trenching, drilling, and sampling.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage permit-to-work, PPE compliance, and emergency response readiness, including first aid and evacuation plans.
• Monitor vehicle and journey management for remote desert operations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, including the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and environmental standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and maintain HSE records and statistics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HSE experience, preferably in mining, exploration, oil and gas, or construction.
• Recognized HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH.
• Experience working in remote sites and camp environments.
• Valid first aid certification.
• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on a rotation schedule at the site.

Work Environment

This role is site-based and requires working in remote locations, including exploration sites and camps, on a rotation schedule. The position is full-time and located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
