About Ethos Interactive and the Account Executive Role

Ethos Interactive is a rapidly growing digital communication group operating across the MENA region, known for impacting the success of leading brands. We are seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, serving as a foundational role within the account team.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Account Executive functions as a central support for the account team, ensuring work progresses accurately and on schedule. This involves managing briefs, securing approvals, adhering to timelines, and maintaining precise documentation. The role requires a reliable individual who learns the client's business through daily operational details. Key responsibilities are focused on support and execution; client strategy, budget management, and commercial negotiations are handled by Account Managers and above, with an expectation to escalate risks promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account documentation, including status reports, contact reports, WIP trackers, and approval logs.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the client's brand, products, category, and campaign calendar.
  • Keep internal teams informed of changes to briefs, timings, and deliverables, and flag risks to the Account Manager.
  • Apply agency processes consistently and suggest minor improvements where applicable.
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for routine client requests, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Attend client meetings, take clear notes, and circulate accurate contact reports within agreed timeframes.
  • Gather inputs for strategic work, such as competitor activity, category trends, and platform updates.
  • Assemble background research, reference decks, and case studies for briefs and pitches.
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorms and internal reviews, offering a point of view.
  • Draft and circulate clear internal briefs, ensuring all inputs are present before work commences.
  • Traffic work through creative, content, production, and media teams, chasing feedback and approvals.
  • Prepare draft estimates and cost sheets for Account Manager approval.
  • Raise and track purchase orders, and chase supplier invoices and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and current job numbers, budget trackers, and billing records.
  • Manage day-to-day production support, including call sheets, scheduling, asset collection, and delivery.
  • Ensure final assets meet platform specifications, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Pull performance data from various analytics platforms into reporting templates.
  • Prepare first-draft performance reports for Account Manager review and monitor live campaigns for anomalies.

Attributes for Success

  • Accuracy: Producing work that is correct on the first attempt, with reliable reports, briefs, and figures.
  • Reliability: Consistently meeting deadlines, ensuring no tasks are overlooked, and proactively communicating risks.
  • Proactivity: Anticipating next steps and offering solutions rather than solely identifying problems.
  • Curiosity: Demonstrating an eagerness to learn the client's business and stay informed on industry trends and platforms.
  • Collaboration: Being organized, clear, and easy to work with for creative, production, and media teams.
  • Composure: Maintaining professionalism under pressure and handling feedback constructively.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills to manage multiple tasks and stakeholder interactions efficiently.

Career Development

Successful performance in this role can lead to progression towards an Account Manager position. Readiness for this advancement is demonstrated by the ability to manage a workstream with minimal supervision, interpret performance data beyond mere reporting, build trust with client contacts, draft accurate estimates and timelines, and brief creative teams effectively to ensure strategic alignment.
