About the Role

Shory is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The role involves preparing financial reports, conducting reconciliations, and supporting various financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including:

• Preparing financial reports and statements.
• Conducting bank reconciliations.
• Performing cyclical audits.
• Creating ad-hoc reports for diverse business needs.
• Preparing tax documents.
• Compiling and analyzing financial statements.
• Managing budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Preparing Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial reports.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this position must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered an asset:

• Being a qualified accountant with CPA and ACCA certifications.
