Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the Role

Hilton is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring accurate billing and efficient payment collections, contributing to the overall financial health and guest experience.

Role Overview

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions related to customer payments, including invoicing, commission processing, and account reconciliation. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records and actively pursuing outstanding balances to support positive cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and commissions, ensuring accurate generation of invoices and timely payment or deduction of travel agent commissions.
• Maintain account accuracy by promptly posting charges and credits and reconciling subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger.
• Monitor and collect payments, following up on outstanding balances to maintain positive cash flow and reduce overdue accounts.
• Resolve billing issues by investigating account discrepancies and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve disputes.
• Prepare and send statements, issuing timely account statements with a target of daily delivery.
• Review daily transactions, auditing previous day’s charges for accuracy, proper documentation, and contractual compliance.
• Manage credit metrics, calculating monthly Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and assisting with credit management reporting to support timely collections and financial accuracy.
