The Role of AI Native Backend Engineer (.NET)

Eltizam is seeking an AI Native Backend Engineer (.NET) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 3-5 years of experience. The role involves developing and maintaining backend systems crucial for the company's insurance technology platform, with a focus on AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage insurer partner integrations from sandbox environments to go-live, including building REST or SOAP adapters to request quotes, map coverage, submit policies for issuance, and retrieve policy documents.
• Integrate payment gateways for checkout and refunds, verify signed callbacks, update payment statuses, trigger policy issuance, and reconcile settlements.
• Implement customer identity features such as registration, sign-in, OTP verification, and session renewal, while enforcing roles and resource-level access across customer accounts and policy APIs.
• Develop backend features including business rules, **** Core endpoints, MySQL migrations, RabbitMQ consumers, and background jobs. Optimize queries and Redis caching to manage increasing traffic.
• Balance feature releases, partner onboarding, and production issues, resolving blockers directly with partner engineers and overseeing each change through rollout.

Required Technical Skills and Tools

• Proficiency in C# and **** Core (.NET 8/10).
• Experience with MySQL HeatWave for database management.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ for message queuing.
• Knowledge of Redis for caching solutions.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Seq for logging and monitoring.

Experience and Location

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend engineering. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
