About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Ambulatory Care Representative I for Registration & Appointments. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring seamless patient access, acceptance, registration, eligibility verification, and financial status management in strict adherence to Hospital policies. The role involves timely coordination with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.

Patient Services and Registration

  • Greet and receive patients, employees, or visitors upon arrival in the clinic, providing information and directions as needed.
  • Obtain necessary patient information and direct caller concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Open new medical records for incoming patients.
  • Review and respond to correspondence related to patient eligibility for treatment.
  • Interview and assist patients and their families prior to submitting medical referral paperwork, clearly explaining KFSH&RC's Eligibility policy.
  • Perform all required appointment services and admission functions.

Administrative and Coordination Duties

  • Register and process financial letters from various entities, including Royal Families, Royal Cabinet, companies, General Medical Committees, and embassies.
  • Register and confirm patient visits using the hospital's computer system, initiating necessary actions for patient check-in.
  • Receive and process walk-in patients, taking appropriate action.
  • Retrieve patient information from the system as required.
  • Verify patient eligibility status, ensuring suitability for the referred specialty.
  • Coordinate with other hospital staff to ensure patient appointments (*, X-ray or Endoscopy) are scheduled efficiently and closely together.

Compliance and Development

  • Participate in the orientation of new employees as required.
  • Adhere to all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Engage in personal and team education, training, and development initiatives.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience. This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.
