About the Role

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company is seeking an Architect BIM Coordinator to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed to enhance both architectural delivery and BIM coordination efforts within the company.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Architect BIM Coordinator will combine strong architectural BIM expertise with multidisciplinary BIM coordination. This role focuses on architectural modeling, documentation, and design development, while also supporting model federation, clash detection and resolution, model QA/QC, and compliance with BIM standards. The position involves coordination with internal and external stakeholders and is intended to strengthen architectural delivery and BIM coordination, without assuming the full responsibilities of a dedicated Senior BIM Coordinator or BIM Architect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed BIM models based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Follow established BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to maintain consistency and quality across all project models.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of BIM across all disciplines and resolve any design conflicts.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among project teams, serving as a liaison for BIM-related inquiries.
  • Regularly audit BIM models and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Implement quality control processes and assist in corrective actions when issues are identified in BIM documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in a relevant architectural or BIM coordination role.
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural modeling, documentation, and design development.
  • Familiarity with model federation, clash detection and resolution, and model QA/QC processes.
  • Understanding of BIM standards and their practical application.

Technical Support and Data Management

  • Offer technical support to team members on BIM software and processes, ensuring effective utilization.
  • Attend training and professional development sessions to stay current on the latest BIM technologies and tools.
  • Organize and maintain BIM data and documentation, ensuring accessibility and up-to-date information for all project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and contribute to reports on BIM performance and project status, providing insights to support decision-making.
