ARCHITECTURAL BIM MODELER (FITOUT)

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an Architectural BIM Modeler (Fit-Out) to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on developing accurate BIM models and preparing detailed drawings for interior fit-out and architectural detailing projects. The role involves working with Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools to support project delivery.

Role Overview

The Architectural BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed BIM models, preparing various types of drawings, and ensuring coordination across disciplines. This role requires strong knowledge of architectural fit-out elements, including ceilings, partitions, joinery, finishes, flooring, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), and interior detailing, in compliance with project standards and Saudi authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Architectural BIM models for fit-out and interior projects using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare shop drawings, GA drawings, detailed interior drawings, ceiling layouts, and joinery details.
• Create coordination drawings and coordinate architectural models with MEP and structural disciplines.
• Ensure BIM models comply with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company standards.
• Perform clash detection and support model coordination using Navisworks.
• Produce quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Update models based on consultant/client comments and site changes.
• Assist project teams during construction and fit-out execution stages.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and models as per project schedule.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in architectural BIM modeling, specifically in interior fit-out and architectural detailing projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of architectural fit-out elements, including ceilings, partitions, joinery, finishes, flooring, RCP, and interior detailing.
• Familiarity with project standards and Saudi authority requirements.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
