The Architectural Engineer Role

Proger *** is seeking an Architectural Engineer to join its branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves planning, designing, and supervising architectural projects to ensure technical accuracy, aesthetic quality, and compliance with local regulations. The Architectural Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare design documentation, and oversee project execution to meet objectives, standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings and technical designs in accordance with project specifications and Saudi building codes.
• Participate in planning, design coordination, and project management activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
• Review and validate design documents, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise on-site implementation to ensure compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
• Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical presentations for management and clients.
• Ensure all architectural work complies with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) regulations and relevant authority requirements.
• Support the development of sustainable and efficient building designs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, design, and supervise architectural projects.
• Proficiency in developing architectural drawings and technical designs.
• Experience with Saudi building codes and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project documentation.
