About the Role

Wood is seeking an Area Lead to join its Projects business in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the development of a new gold mining and processing facility, focusing on the construction and pre-commissioning phases. The role requires candidates to possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in similar large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction and erection of thickener mechanisms.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works.
• Oversee mechanical completion and ensure readiness for testing.
• Support the handover process for commissioning.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Candidates for this role must demonstrate practical knowledge and experience with key components and systems relevant to mining and processing facilities. Specific areas of expertise should include Thickeners, Rakes, Drive Units, Feedwells, and Overflow Systems.

Work Location and Schedule

The position will initially be office-based in one of the following cities: Al Khobar, Riyadh, or Al Jubail. Following this initial phase, the role will transition to a site-based assignment within Saudi Arabia, operating on an 8/2 rotation schedule.
