About the Internship

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an Area Manager Intern to join the University Talent Acquisition Team. This internship is designed for ambitious students to gain experience within Amazon Operations, one of the company's core businesses. The role is based in Riyadh and offers an opportunity to learn about leading and developing teams in a large-scale logistics environment.

Role Overview

As an Operations and Logistics Intern, you will observe and learn how managers engage teams to achieve their potential, ensure performance meets customer expectations, and foster a safe and productive environment. This role provides direct exposure to the operations within Fulfillment Centers, Sortation Centers, and Delivery Stations, placing you at the center of the customer order journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply analytical skills to improve the functionality and service level of Fulfillment Centers, Sortation Centers, and Delivery Stations.
• Conduct deep dives into data, mapping processes and identifying problems.
• Propose, test, and implement effective solutions to operational challenges.
• Collaborate with managers, technology development teams, and front-line associates to address complex business and operational issues within Amazon's operations network.

Internship Experience

Interns will be matched with a mentor and will work on an impactful project. The program offers opportunities for personal and professional development through engagement with Amazonians, networking, and participation in activities with other interns. Interns are provided with the tools to manage their projects and gain real-world experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience required: 0-1 years.
• Ability to commence an internship in Q2 2027.
• Availability for a full-time commitment (40 hours/week) for 3 to 6 months.
• Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (field-based role).

Successful interns may be considered for a graduate role upon completion of their university studies.
