We are seeking an Asset and Configuration Intern to join our team in Riyadh, contributing to the Operation & Maintenance of the Riyadh Metro Project. This internship is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience.

Role Overview

The Asset and Configuration Intern will apply their knowledge in asset configuration and data management within a cutting-edge infrastructure project. This role involves working alongside a dedicated team to support the efficient operation and maintenance of the Riyadh Metro Project, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and managing asset lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Asset Data Management by assisting in the creation and maintenance of asset records in IBM Maximo, ensuring the accuracy and currency of asset information, serial numbers, software versions, and configuration data.
• Contribute to Obsolescence Management by monitoring asset and spare part obsolescence, coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, and Design Authority teams, and maintaining the Obsolescence Tracker with required updates and action plans.
• Assist in Material Master Data Management, including SAP GSI part number creation and extension activities, while ensuring compliance with established data standards and processes.
• Develop and maintain Reports and KPIs using Power BI and Excel to support informed decision-making processes.
• Engage in Cross-Functional Collaboration, working closely with team members from Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to support asset data governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform Quality Assurance by reviewing and verifying documents for completeness and consistency, ensuring that all records are current and accessible.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a relevant field, suitable for an internship position.
• Demonstrated interest or foundational knowledge in asset configuration and data management.
• Familiarity with data management principles and tools, potentially including IBM Maximo or SAP GSI.
• Proficiency in using reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel.

Work Environment and Team

This internship is based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Metro Project team. The intern will collaborate with various departments, including Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain, fostering a cross-functional and collaborative work environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
