Assistant Lounge Manager, The Red Palace

Boutique Group is seeking an Assistant Lounge Manager for The Red Palace, an ultra-luxury boutique hotel located in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing the daily operations of the Cigar Lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. The position combines leadership, operational management, and guest engagement, while actively promoting the Company’s legacy competencies and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Cigar Lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor all team members, setting performance standards and fostering a positive, guest-focused culture.
  • Assist in developing and implementing creative, high-quality mocktail and beverage menus that reflect the hotel's positioning.
  • Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and prompt, professional handling of feedback and requests.
  • Maintain the lounge area to high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency.

Operational Excellence and Brand Alignment

  • Manage staff scheduling, inventory, procurement, and cost control to ensure profitability and prepare regular operational and financial reports.
  • Implement strategies to increase sales, including upselling, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Plan and execute special events, VIP services, and seasonal promotions, collaborating with other hotel departments for seamless execution.
  • Identify skill gaps and organize ongoing training programs to coach staff in service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, F&B standards, and local regulations, regularly inspecting lounge areas, equipment, and inventory for quality and safety.
  • Contribute strategically by providing recommendations for improving guest experience and operational performance, analyzing trends and competitor offerings.
  • Embody the company’s legacy competencies and values, delivering service that is warm, genuine, intuitive, elegant, and discreet, and taking pride in anticipating guest needs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in F&B management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, standards, and service excellence.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operational processes effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a guest-centric mindset.
