About the Role

Qiddiya, a transformative giga project aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, is seeking an Assistant Manager - External Programs & Policies (Local Content). This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, is integral to advancing the company’s commitment to local content integration, supplier development, and compliance with government policies.

Role Purpose and Context

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the development and deployment of strategies aimed at enhancing local content across Qiddiya projects. This involves ensuring alignment with Public Investment Fund (PIF) and national objectives, monitoring local content regulations, and maintaining compliance with government mandates. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to foster supplier growth and adherence to policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and deployment of strategies to enhance local content across Qiddiya projects, aligning with PIF and national objectives.
  • Monitor and interpret local content regulations and government mandates to ensure full compliance.
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and analysis related to local content performance and impact.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement and supply chain teams, to embed local content targets into operational processes.
  • Assist in the design and execution of programs that build capacity and capabilities within local supplier bases.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers, government agencies, and other relevant bodies to foster supplier growth and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for audits and ensure adherence to local content policies.
  • Serve as a liaison to external stakeholders, including government officials and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide guidance and training to relevant teams on local content requirements and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally within large-scale projects such as construction, infrastructure, or urban development.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s local content policies, government regulations, and Vision 2030 initiatives.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience working within the Saudi Arabian business environment is highly desirable.
