About Qiddiya and the Role
Qiddiya Investment Company is developing a giga-project in Riyadh, aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, to establish a premier destination for entertainment, culture, and lifestyle. The Assistant Manager - External Programs & Policies (Local Content) will contribute to this initiative by focusing on local content integration, supplier development, and compliance with government policies. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
Role Purpose and Context
This role is central to advancing Qiddiya's commitment to integrating local content across its projects. The Assistant Manager will ensure adherence to national objectives and Public Investment Fund (PIF) guidelines, playing a critical part in supporting the local economy through strategic programs and policy implementation.
Local Content Strategy and Implementation
- Support the development and deployment of strategies to enhance local content across Qiddiya projects, aligning with PIF and national objectives.
- Monitor and interpret local content regulations and government mandates to ensure full compliance.
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and analysis related to local content performance and impact.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement and supply chain teams, to embed local content targets into operational processes.
Supplier Development and Engagement
- Assist in the design and execution of programs aimed at building capacity and capabilities within local supplier bases.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers, government agencies, and other relevant bodies to foster supplier growth and compliance.
Stakeholder Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for audits and ensure adherence to local content policies.
- Serve as a liaison to external stakeholders, including government officials and regulatory bodies.
- Provide guidance and training to relevant teams on local content requirements and best practices.
Experience and Work Type
Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in local content integration, supplier development, or policy compliance. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant national project in Riyadh.
