The Role of Assistant Operations Manager

Noon is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves the daily management and strategic development of the company’s multi-channel fulfillment network. The role is critical in ensuring operational targets are met and procedures are adhered to within the fulfillment center.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the company’s multi-channel fulfillment network.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Logistics, Planning, and Central Operations to achieve set targets and ensure adherence to Noon fulfillment center policies and procedures.
• Oversee various warehouse activities, including Inbound, Stores, Shipping, Quality Control, inventory management, and associated record-keeping.
• Handle people management responsibilities, which include hiring, training, planning and assigning daily tasks, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
• Drive the creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change/Six Sigma initiatives to enable the Functional Area and Fulfillment to meet and exceed business plans.
• Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Area Managers.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in operations management.

• Demonstrated leadership skills in people management, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Familiarity with staffing plans, scheduling, quality initiatives, and process improvement methodologies like Change/Six Sigma.
