This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a significant new build airport project. This project aims to establish a global benchmark for aviation experience and is projected to attract 120 million passengers by 2030.

The Role of Associate Director Project Controls

The Associate Director Project Controls will be responsible for leading PMO and project controls delivery across assigned commissions. This role involves providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment with Mace's operational standards, contributing to the successful execution of high-value projects within the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PMO and project controls delivery across assigned commissions.
  • Provide expert guidance on cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
  • Build strong client relationships and drive performance reporting.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with the Mace control centre, including mentoring teams and promoting sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant degree and demonstrable progress toward chartership.
  • Proven experience in PMO and project controls delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant tools, techniques, and sector practices.
  • Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.

Skills and Attributes

Candidates should possess effective communication skills, coupled with strong analytical abilities and proven experience in stakeholder engagement. The role requires a professional capable of mentoring teams and fostering collaborative environments to achieve project objectives and sustainability goals.
