About the Role

Currie & Brown is seeking an Associate Director Project Controls to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time position involves leading the Project Controls elements within a Project Management Office (PMO) for a multi-billion SAR gigaproject. The role focuses on providing strategic leadership and ensuring best practices across a large-scale development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director – Project Controls will be responsible for leading, governing, and continuously improving all project controls functions. This includes providing strategic oversight for various critical areas:

Leading and governing project controls functions across a large-scale development portfolio.
Providing strategic leadership for planning, scheduling, and reporting.
Overseeing governance, performance management, and project controls assurance.
Administering PMIS (Project Management Information System) and business intelligence reporting.
Ensuring programme-wide compliance with established standards.
Acting as the client's senior subject matter expert for project controls.
Establishing best-practice standards and maintaining governance frameworks.
Driving accurate executive reporting to senior leadership, executive committees, and board-level stakeholders.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in project controls, particularly within large-scale development projects or gigaprojects. The role requires a proven track record in leading and implementing project controls frameworks and reporting mechanisms.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working on a multi-billion SAR gigaproject. The role involves operating within a Project Management Office (PMO) structure, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders and leadership teams.
