About the Role: Associate Director - Project Controls

Mace Group is seeking an Associate Director - Project Controls to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This part-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves leading project controls delivery for a significant development programme. The role focuses on integrating construction expertise with consultancy to support large-scale projects.

Project Context

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. The project involves a major mixed-use development, encompassing sports facilities, entertainment venues, and arts complexes, along with all associated infrastructure. As a delivery partner, Mace Group requires experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PMO and project controls delivery across assigned commissions.
• Provide expert guidance on cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
• Build strong client relationships and drive performance reporting.
• Align delivery with the Mace control centre, including mentoring teams and promoting sustainability initiatives.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree and demonstrable progress toward chartership.
• Proven experience in PMO and project controls delivery.
• Strong knowledge of relevant tools, techniques, and sector practices.
• Effective communication skills, coupled with analytical and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.
