About the Role

Nestlé is seeking an Associate Manager Sales to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is focused on driving growth, ensuring executional excellence, and fostering strong customer partnerships within the retail channel. The position primarily covers the Qassim & Hail Area, with an expectation that the ideal candidate resides in the Qassim Area – Center Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for both volume and value.
• Ensure and enhance full route coverage, optimize drop size, increase market share, and improve success rates.
• Follow up on and audit collections from customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
• Conduct training and development sessions for team members to enhance their sales skills.
• Monitor sales actions and conduct surveys to gather feedback and refine sales strategies.
• Utilize sales tools and software for performance tracking and customer relationship management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all sales activities.
• Uphold Nestlé’s standards of quality, safety, and ethical business practices in all field operations.
• Supervise collaboration and ensure product knowledge through in-person and phone communication.
• Oversee collaboration with targeted customers to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
• Lead the expenditure of financial resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines at the retail level.
• Report competitive price changes and promotional support, and resolve competitive pricing issues.
• Identify and correct product voids, ensuring the availability of new items.
• Communicate market insights from the retail level to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the sales field, preferably within the food & beverage sector.
• Previous experience supervising retail routes and field teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other POS systems.
• Valid Saudi Driving License is required.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with effective selling and analytical abilities.
• Ability to analyze financial, inventory, retail conditions, and other data to apply appropriate selling techniques.

Location and Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with primary coverage of the Qassim & Hail Area. Candidates are expected to reside in the Qassim Area – Center Region and must be willing and able to travel as required by the role.
