Associate Principal Product Management

About the Role

Elm Company is seeking an Associate Principal Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the Abaad Data Portal. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role ensures alignment between business objectives, customer needs, and data platform capabilities, driving product planning, stakeholder alignment, backlog prioritization, product performance, and continuous enhancement of the portal.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the strategic vision for the Abaad Data Portal, aligning with organizational and customer objectives.
• Develop and communicate the product strategy, objectives, and long-term roadmap.
• Identify business opportunities to enhance the value and adoption of the portal.
• Develop, maintain, and govern the product roadmap across all stages of the product lifecycle, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and customer needs.
• Own and manage the product backlog, defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into product initiatives and facilitate alignment across teams.
• Lead the development of data-driven products and services through the Abaad platform, ensuring they address customer needs and provide measurable business value.
• Analyze customer feedback, business requirements, and usage insights to drive customer-centric product improvements and innovations.
• Define and monitor product KPIs, adoption metrics, usage trends, and business outcomes, utilizing data-driven insights to refine product direction.
• Establish governance practices for effective product management and coordinate activities across analytics, engineering, BI, design, and business teams.

Product Management and Development

The role involves comprehensive product lifecycle management, from strategic visioning to continuous enhancement. This includes monitoring roadmap execution, evaluating product performance, and introducing continuous improvements. The Associate Principal will balance stakeholder requests, technical constraints, and business priorities to ensure delivery teams have clear direction and well-defined requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Performance Monitoring

Effective stakeholder management is crucial, involving collaboration with various business units to understand requirements and translate them into product initiatives. The role also supports executive decision-making through effective product governance and reporting. Performance monitoring includes analyzing product performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and providing regular performance reports and recommendations to management.

Operational Compliance

• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure consistent work execution.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with information security practices and standards to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in product management or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap development.
• Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing initiatives based on business value and customer needs.
• Proficiency in Agile product management practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
