Associate Principal

About the Role

Elm Company is seeking an Associate Principal to lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the Abaad Data Portal. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh, involves ensuring alignment between business objectives, customer needs, and data platform capabilities. The Associate Principal will drive product planning, stakeholder alignment, backlog prioritization, product performance, and continuous enhancement of the portal to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-value data services for internal and external customers, supporting data-driven decision-making and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the strategic vision for the Abaad Data Portal, aligning with organizational and customer objectives.
• Develop and communicate the product strategy, objectives, and long-term roadmap.
• Identify business opportunities to enhance the portal's value and adoption.
• Develop, maintain, and govern the product roadmap across all stages of the product lifecycle, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and customer needs.
• Own and manage the product backlog, defining and refining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into product initiatives and facilitate alignment across teams.
• Lead the development of data-driven products and services through the Abaad platform, ensuring they address customer needs and provide measurable business value.
• Analyze customer feedback, business requirements, and usage insights to drive customer-centric product improvements and innovations.
• Define and monitor product KPIs, adoption metrics, usage trends, and business outcomes, utilizing data-driven insights for optimization.
• Establish governance practices for effective product management and coordinate activities across analytics, engineering, BI, design, and business teams.

Product Management and Delivery

• Monitor roadmap execution and ensure timely delivery of planned outcomes.
• Balance stakeholder requests, technical constraints, and business priorities.
• Ensure delivery teams have clear direction and well-defined requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication of product priorities and progress.
• Support adoption and utilization of data products across internal and external customers.
• Identify product gaps and opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and engagement.
• Provide regular performance reporting and recommendations to management.
• Promote Agile product management practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

Operational Compliance

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Adhere to all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve product objectives and ensure operational sustainability.
