About the Role

V2X Inc is seeking an Aviation Supply Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing and overseeing aviation supply operations, providing essential support to OPM SANG.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Aviation Supply Specialist holds a critical role in ensuring the seamless procurement, distribution, and maintenance of materials specifically related to aviation. This position is instrumental in maintaining optimal operational readiness and directly supports the mission objectives of the battalion's aviation assets.

Core Supply Operations

• Conduct warehouse maintenance, inventories, and stock management for aviation supplies.
• Perform aviation logistics and warehouse operations.
• Execute Supply Support Activity (SSA)/depot functions, including receipt, issue, turn-in, retrograde, inventories, stock control, reconciliation, and general warehouse operations.
• Maintain COSIS knowledge and accountability for all materials.
• Manage shelf-life and expiration dates for all aviation supplies.
• Perform additional duties or tasks as directed by management.

Supply Chain Management and Compliance

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes for aviation-related materials, encompassing procurement, storage, and distribution.
• Collaborate with logistics personnel to optimize the supply chain for efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of supplies, spare parts, and equipment, conducting regular audits to ensure precise management and promptly address discrepancies.
• Coordinate with aviation procurement teams to acquire necessary supplies, spare parts, and materials for aviation assets, ensuring compliance with aviation procurement regulations and budgetary constraints.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies specifically tailored for aviation supplies to ensure timely and accurate delivery to aviation units within the battalion.
• Collaborate with aviation logistics and transportation teams to optimize delivery schedules.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure received aviation supplies meet stringent aviation standards, monitoring and addressing any related issues.
• Assist in budget planning and monitoring specifically for aviation supply-related expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising the operational needs of aviation assets.
• Ensure product conformity and maintain airworthiness awareness, identifying non-conforming material and maintaining proper segregation and documentation.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in aviation supply, logistics, or a directly related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse maintenance, inventory management, and supply chain processes within an aviation context.
• Familiarity with aviation procurement regulations, quality control standards, and material accountability.
