About the BI and Reporting Expert Role

DeepSource is seeking a BI and Reporting Expert to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to transforming complex raw enterprise data into actionable visual insights, supporting data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Role Overview and Impact

The BI and Reporting Expert will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards and executive reporting solutions. This role functions as a critical link between IT infrastructure and business leadership, driving the adoption of data-informed strategies throughout DeepSource.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade interactive dashboards and automated reports using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Develop robust star/snowflake schemas, optimize DAX/SQL queries, and manage data models to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers on the design and maintenance of automated ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from ERPs, CRMs, and SQL databases into data warehouses.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear KPI frameworks, executive summaries, and functional dashboard specifications.
• Implement and enforce row-level security (RLS), data quality standards, and access control policies across all BI platforms.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in Business Intelligence, data analysis, or a related reporting role.
• Demonstrated ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable visual insights.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Strong understanding and experience with DAX/SQL queries, data modeling, and schema design (star/snowflake).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration from various sources (ERPs, CRMs, SQL databases).
• Knowledge of row-level security (RLS), data quality standards, and access control policies.
