About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Business Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for supporting decision-making and enhancing business performance through comprehensive market research, data analysis, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience, providing actionable business insights and ensuring effective stakeholder coordination and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, sector studies, and competitive benchmarking analyses to identify industry trends, business opportunities, and potential risks.
• Analyze business performance and operational data to generate insights and translate findings into actionable recommendations for management.
• Support planning and decision-making processes through evidence-based analysis.
• Prepare analytical reports, management presentations, and executive summaries.
• Develop performance reports and dashboards to monitor key business indicators, analyzing results to highlight gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management, ensuring reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, data, and supporting information.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on analytical studies and initiatives, facilitating communication between cross-functional teams and management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of analyses, methodologies, and business cases, ensuring proper recordkeeping, data integrity, and adherence to documentation standards.

Role Accountabilities

• HR Proficiency: Obtain and maintain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Delivery: Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per schedules, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time constraints. Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Quality: Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products or related activities.
• Business Process Improvement: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Compliance: Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a business analysis role or a related field. The ability to continuously update soft and technical skills relevant to the job is essential for success in this role.
