We are seeking a Business Unit Manager - Wound Closure to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a full-time capacity.

Role Purpose and Context

The Business Unit Manager for Wound Closure will lead the commercial performance of the assigned business within the broader Surgery division. This role involves developing and executing strategic business plans, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring strong customer engagement. The manager will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver value to healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales, market share, profitability, and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement business and account strategies aligned with company priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and foster the development of a high-performing commercial team.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key surgeons, hospitals, procurement teams, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Manage forecasting, business planning, pricing strategies, portfolio optimization, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Regulatory teams.
  • Ensure adherence to the Johnson & Johnson Credo, Health Care Compliance policies, and local regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7–10 years of commercial experience within the medical devices or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with strong strategic and financial acumen.

Essential Skills and Language

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
