Capacity Mgmt. Monitoring Team Leader

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Capacity Management Monitoring Team Leader to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves understanding business needs, and then developing, configuring, and delivering applications and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, providing instructions to subordinates and monitoring adherence.
• Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures within SLA guidelines, ensuring all operations are completed within target timeframes.
• Perform daily operational tasks to maintain system and application stability, ensuring smooth daily job execution and proper functioning of backup and disaster recovery sites.
• Communicate with business operations to identify and clarify business needs, analyzing these needs to support the introduction of suitable solutions.
• Monitor local and international trends and best practices in banking operating systems, proposing improvements to increase operational efficiency and speed.
• Ensure a consistent and streamlined unit structure to achieve error-free processing and high service turnaround.
• Archive all documents according to policies and guidelines for sustainable operational efficiency.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices, business process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Direct and supervise data analysis to establish trends and identify efficiency/quality opportunities for corrective or improvement actions.
• Review and lead the preparation of statistical reports for senior management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department.
• Complete assignments and ad-hoc requirements from business and Operations Management as directed.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in system development, configuration, and delivery within a banking or financial services environment.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical skills to identify business needs and propose effective solutions.
• Proficiency in monitoring day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Ability to manage system stability, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with business operations and senior management.
• Leadership capabilities to direct analysis and supervise report preparation.
