About the Role

The National Medical Care Company (Care) is seeking a Case Management Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This contract position is central to overseeing the entire lifecycle of in-patient cases, from admission through to discharge. The supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of discharge summary reports and coordinating with the Finance department for the collection of all outstanding dues.

Case Management Oversight

• Ensure, directly or indirectly, a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion, and understanding for every patient served.
• Follow all in-patient cases comprehensively from the time of admission to discharge.
• Coordinate with all relevant physicians regarding the progress of care for each patient.
• Review diagnosis reports and discuss findings with concerned physicians.
• Assess patient progress during their stay and against expected recovery benchmarks.
• Coordinate with nursing services to ensure optimal patient care delivery.

Operational Coordination and Reporting

• Keep track of approvals and inform physicians to manage care within the approved time limits.
• Receive and provide analysis reports to the Business Center Manager on Census, Status, and Acuity, including suggested solutions for any expected problems.
• Ensure the strict maintenance of patient confidentiality at all times.
• Coordinate with the Finance department for the collection of all dues related to patient cases.

Training and Compliance

• Provide orientation to new hires on policies and procedures pertaining to the work area, eligibility of treatment, and the Patient Care System.
• Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education programs developed by the department, such as Department Policy and Procedures, Fire Safety, Risk Management, and Environmental Control.
• Perform clerical duties inherent in the function, relevant to scheduling and receiving patients.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the management.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Case Management Supervisor position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in case management or a similar supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
