Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at a luxury hospitality destination in The Red Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level chef who is eager to learn, develop culinary skills, and build a successful career in hospitality. You will work alongside experienced chefs while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and company standards.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, portioning, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to the required quality standards.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory control.
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
• Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is an advantage.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred.
