Role Overview

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position focuses on critical infrastructure maintenance projects, including roads, sidewalks, and stormwater drainage systems. The role requires a professional with proven site supervision capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure maintenance operations.

Position Focus

The successful candidate will play a central role in overseeing maintenance, improvement, and development projects. This involves ensuring all activities adhere to approved specifications, safety requirements, and project timelines. A strong emphasis is placed on technical accuracy, quality assurance, and effective communication with supervising authorities. Candidates with advanced computer application skills and applied engineering software certifications will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all maintenance activities related to roads, sidewalks, and stormwater drainage networks.
• Review and verify survey plans, excavation quantities, leveling works, and site measurements.
• Monitor and follow up on quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) results to ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare and submit daily technical and progress reports to the supervising engineer or designated representatives.
• Provide technical and administrative observations regarding maintenance works and ensure timely communication with the supervising authority.
• Ensure that all maintenance operations are executed in accordance with approved specifications, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in road maintenance and rehabilitation, sidewalk construction and improvement, and stormwater drainage systems.
• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance, improvement, and development projects, either as a contractor or consultant.
• Full competency in reviewing technical documents, supervising field activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Accreditation by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is required.
