About the Role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Cloud Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to delivering high-quality consultancy services and ensuring the successful, end-to-end implementation of cloud platforms and elements within our programs.

Role Purpose

The Cloud Project Manager will provide comprehensive support to the Program Manager, focusing on the quality and quantity of work performed and ensuring high-quality deliverables. This position holds overall responsibility for task fulfillment and consultant activities specifically related to the cloud components of the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of telco cloud solutions, including Infrastructure, Hypervisor, VIM, CISM, VNFMs, CNFMs, NFVO, DC SDN, WAN solutions, load balancers, and firewalls, alongside various management and automation tools.
• Lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure projects.
• Lead the deployment of Management and Orchestration (MANO) components, ensuring alignment with common Virtual Network Function Managers (VNFMs) and Network Functions Virtualization Orchestrator (NFVO) standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end horizontal and vertical integration of VNFs/CNFs and facilitate a smooth handover to Infrastructure Operations.
• Manage consultant services, control the quality and quantity of work performed, guide the team, and bear overall responsibility for task fulfillment and consultant activities.

Project Oversight and Coordination

• Set objectives and priorities for Cloud rollout execution in line with project scope and client requirements.
• Ensure a detailed Project Plan for Cloud rollout and establish necessary project procedures to maintain timely execution and quality.
• Monitor project progress, proactively track bottlenecks and issues, and ensure project schedules and key milestones are met.
• Ensure all Cloud-related dependencies are cleared according to the overall plan.
• Monitor Cloud rollout delivery, optimization, and resolve acceptance issues across corporate sectors and portfolio levels (network and consumers).
• Highlight risks to program delivery plans and propose mitigation solutions.
• Coordinate project activities across all stakeholders and involved departments to ensure well-ordered, end-to-end execution.
• Supervise completed work results against guidelines and project plans, ensuring documentation and timely presentation to the client.
• Establish mechanisms to track, review, and clarify problem issues, identifying actions to resolve project blocking issues.
• Conduct regular project progress review and coordination meetings with key team members, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review changing project requirements, organization, and resource needs, providing recommendations for adjustments.
• Define and ensure adherence to the Responsibility Matrix by all stakeholders.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in project management, specifically within cloud platform implementation or a closely related telecommunications domain. A proven track record of managing complex technical projects and coordinating diverse teams is essential.
