About the Opportunity

ES Consulting is seeking two Cloud Security & Encryption Specialists to join our resident cybersecurity team. These roles will provide dedicated on-site support to a leading government entity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on enhancing cloud security posture and data protection.

Role Overview

The specialists will be integral to monitoring, reviewing, and enhancing the security of cloud environments. This involves ensuring compliance with established security policies and standards, investigating alerts, and driving remediation efforts to maintain a robust security posture for critical cloud resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environments to ensure compliance with approved security policies, standards, and architectural requirements.
• Conduct continuous reviews of the security posture for various cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, databases, and platform services.
• Investigate cloud security alerts, such as unauthorized access attempts, exposed services, and policy violations, and coordinate appropriate response actions.
• Review Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) findings and collaborate with cloud operations teams to drive effective remediation.
• Identify shadow IT and unauthorized cloud deployments, working to enforce comprehensive visibility over the cloud asset inventory.
• Verify that third-party services and integrations within cloud environments adhere to established security requirements.
• Ensure the encryption of sensitive data, both at rest and in transit, in alignment with approved organizational standards.

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity or cloud security role.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools and cloud-native security solutions.
• Solid understanding of encryption standards and data protection controls.
• Strong reporting skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding industry certifications are preferred. Relevant certifications include:

• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• GIAC GCSA (GIAC Cloud Security Automation)

Work Arrangement

This is a contract position based on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring dedicated support to the client entity.
