Cloud Solutions Architect, OCI & AWS

ZainTECH is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on designing and delivering secure, scalable, and business-aligned cloud solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Cloud Solutions Architect serves as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through their cloud transformation journey. This involves helping them build and optimize complex cloud environments, working closely with sales, delivery, and customer teams to translate business requirements into robust cloud solution designs. The role also contributes to the standardization, technical enablement, and continuous improvement of cloud architecture capabilities within ZainTECH.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions across OCI and AWS, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Develop scalable and secure architectures covering Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Identity & security services, Backup, and disaster recovery.
• Implement cloud-native and serverless solutions using OCI and AWS services.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and requirement assessments with customers.
• Act as a trusted advisor for cloud transformation and modernization initiatives, leading architecture discussions, workshops, and technical presentations.
• Support the development of technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring technical and commercial alignment with customer needs.
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) and technical validation activities, assisting in positioning cloud solutions against competitors.
• Support enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects, designing solutions involving Containers & Kubernetes (EKS, OKE), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, OCI Resource Manager), Serverless architectures, and Hybrid cloud networking.
• Advise on cloud scalability, resilience, optimization, and operational best practices.

Collaboration and Professional Contribution

• Collaborate with sales, presales, delivery, and technical teams on customer engagements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to reference architectures, solution templates, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Support internal enablement and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
