The Role of Commercial Manager

PMKConsult is seeking a Commercial Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves leading commercial services from pre-contract stages through to post-contract administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract commercial services, including cost plans, estimates, budgets, and benchmarking from concept to tender.
• Prepare quantities, measurement, and cost models using CostX, in accordance with NRM/POMI and client requirements.
• Develop procurement strategies and tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing schedules.
• Manage tender processes, including tender analysis, clarifications, and award recommendations.
• Support post-contract administration of FIDIC contracts, including valuations, variations, cost reports, and final accounts.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections, highlighting commercial risks.
• Act as the day-to-day commercial contact for clients, design teams, and contractors.
• Supervise and develop Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Ensure compliance with RICS standards, internal Quality Assurance procedures, and KSA regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in Riyadh full-time.
• Possess KSA work eligibility (valid or transferable Iqama).
