About Tabby and the Role
Tabby, a leading company in the region, is seeking a Commercial Operations Executive to join its Business Development department in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to supporting Tabby’s merchant and channel partner ecosystem, ensuring merchants are effectively set up for success from the initial stages of engagement.
Role Purpose
The Commercial Operations Executive plays a key role in technical onboarding, operational coordination, and product rollout execution. This position ensures that merchants implement Tabby in the most optimal way, delivering a seamless payment experience across all customer touchpoints. The role requires strong technical operations skills and involves close collaboration with various internal departments to achieve cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational and technical liaison between Tabby and partner merchants, coordinating with Risk, Integrations, Business Development, and Key Account teams.
- Oversee merchant and channel partner technical onboarding, including documentation preparation, testing coordination, progress tracking, and timely activation.
- Manage merchant data-enablement workflows, ensuring data capture, validation, and alignment with risk and underwriting requirements.
- Lead negotiations with merchants regarding technical requirements, ensuring understanding of Tabby’s data, integration, and compliance needs while balancing business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment on product rollouts by preparing merchant-facing materials, supporting Go-To-Market plans, and ensuring seamless execution.
- Analyze merchant performance and integration health, identify operational gaps, and propose improvements to enhance the merchant experience.
- Own and improve internal documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring scalable and standardized processes for onboarding, integration, and partner success.
- Support Business Development teams during technical discussions with merchants, ensuring commitments made during sales cycles align with product and risk capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- 0-1 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated detail-orientation and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Comfortable navigating both technical concepts and business conversations.
- Aptitude for solving operational challenges, improving processes, and collaborating across multiple teams to achieve merchant success at scale.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, KSA, within a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. The role operates at the intersection of various departments, requiring strong collaboration and coordination skills.
