About the Role

The Carreo Internaional is seeking a dedicated Commi 2 to join its culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to food preparation within a commercial kitchen, with a specific focus on bulk bakery and bread making.

Role Overview

The Commi 2 will play a crucial role in producing a variety of bread products efficiently. This involves working closely with sous chefs and other kitchen staff to maintain high-quality culinary standards and ensure effective food preparation in a busy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of bulk bakery items, with a primary focus on bread production.
• Ensure strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Operate conventional and combi oven equipment effectively and safely.
• Contribute to maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet established production schedules.
• Participate in inventory management and stock control procedures.
• Support in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff members.
• Provide creative input to menu development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Proven experience in the bulk production of bread.
• Demonstrated knowledge of conventional and combi oven operation.
• Focus on bread making; pastry experience is not a requirement for this role.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
