About the Role

Senna, a global consulting firm, is seeking a Compliance Director to establish and lead its Financial Services risk advisory practice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, senior leadership position combines deep technical expertise in banking risk with significant responsibility for business development, client relationships, and team leadership within the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the growth and development of the financial risk advisory practice within Saudi Arabia.
• Provide expert advice to banking clients on asset and liability management, liquidity risk frameworks, and balance sheet risk.
• Deliver engagements focused on liquidity risk, ILAAP, LCR/NSFR, liquidity stress testing, and contingency funding plans.
• Offer technical guidance on IRRBB, EVE/NII modelling, and structural hedging strategies.
• Support clients with funds transfer pricing, ICAAP, and recovery and resolution planning.
• Drive business development activities, including originating and converting new client opportunities.
• Manage senior client relationships and serve as a trusted adviser to banking institutions.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and commercial outcomes.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of risk advisory professionals.
• Take ownership of practice profitability and contribute to the firm's broader regional growth strategy.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, preferably gained within a consulting firm environment.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management at a senior level.
• Experience leading project delivery teams and managing engagement economics.

Specialized Technical Background

• Background in one or more of the following disciplines: Financial Risk, Treasury Risk, Liquidity Risk, ALM, Prudential Risk, Balance Sheet Risk, or Banking Risk Advisory.
• Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian or broader GCC banking regulatory environment is advantageous.
