Compliance Officer

About the Role

Tabby | تابي is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the effective implementation and ongoing management of the organization's compliance framework. The Compliance Officer will ensure adherence to SAMA regulatory requirements, applicable laws, and internal policies, providing day-to-day advisory support to business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing management of the compliance framework in line with SAMA regulations.
• Monitor SAMA circulars, regulatory updates, guidance, and industry developments, assessing their impact on the organization.
• Conduct regulatory research and analysis, translating requirements into practical compliance actions.
• Support the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, standards, and controls.
• Perform compliance monitoring and testing activities to assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, identifying potential regulatory risks and control gaps.
• Maintain regulatory obligations trackers and monitor the implementation of SAMA requirements across business functions.
• Provide daily compliance advisory support to business teams on SAMA regulatory requirements.
• Review products, services, processes, partnerships, and business initiatives for compliance requirements and risks.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and communications.
• Conduct compliance reviews and assessments related to potential regulatory breaches and policy violations.
• Document compliance findings, recommendations, and remediation actions, monitoring progress.
• Support investigations into potential compliance breaches, escalating material matters to the Compliance Manager.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, internal audits, and independent compliance reviews.
• Maintain accurate compliance registers, records, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare compliance reports, monitoring results, and risk assessments for management review.
• Support the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness activities.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, Operations, and Information Security teams to strengthen controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, controls, and reporting.
• Escalate material compliance risks, breaches, and regulatory concerns to the Compliance Lead.

Experience and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a compliance role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform compliance monitoring, regulatory analysis, and risk assessments.
• Experience in tracking regulatory obligations and conducting compliance reviews.
• Proficiency in providing compliance advisory support to business functions.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring close collaboration with various internal teams including Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, Operations, and Information Security.
