Concierge Spa

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Concierge Spa to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing spa and salon services, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent client service. The role requires planning services for individuals and groups using reservation software and maintaining communication with clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan services for individual clients or large groups using the spa/salon reservation management software.
• Contact clients to confirm booked services and answer questions about offered services.
• Update reservation/cancellation lists throughout the day, inform staff of last-minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues in collaboration with the supervisor/manager.
• Register clients for appointments, confirm names, and provide general orientation within the spa upon arrival.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services.
• Obtain assigned cash float, verify accuracy, ensure sufficient change, and secure the cash float at all times.
• Process client payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorizations as needed.
• Accept and record cash tips for employees.
• Balance, record, and deposit receipts with Accounting.
• Notify Engineering of necessary maintenance and repair work.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
• Follow and apply all brand policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean and complete work uniform is worn.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times in the workplace.
• Respect confidentiality in disseminating brand and/or hotel information and protect all company assets.
• Welcome and receive clients according to company standards, anticipate and respond to their needs, assist disabled individuals, and thank clients warmly.
• Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
• Answer the phone using appropriate language.
• Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers.
• Comply with quality requirements and standards.
• Be accustomed to working standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods.
• Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to kilograms independently.
• Perform all other tasks requested by managers that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Less than one year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
