About the Role

BeWunder is seeking a Construction Manager for a permanent installation project in Riyadh. This is a temporary freelance role with a duration from ASAP until the end of May 2027. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordination with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all construction and site installation activities for the assigned project.
• Develop and oversee construction schedules in line with overall project timelines.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, subcontractors, and material requirements.
• Ensure all works are delivered according to project specifications and drawings.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to maintain programme milestones.
• Lead day-to-day site operations during build-up and dismantle periods.
• Ensure effective supervision of contractors, suppliers, and freelance crews.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.
• Manage site logistics, access control, storage, and installation sequencing.
• Promote and enforce a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, venue requirements, and company HSE policies.
• Act as the primary construction point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction-related budgets and labour costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management or civil engineering, with exposure to projects in the Middle East.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and site management practices.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience managing subcontractors, freelance, and labour teams.
• Candidates must have all required documentation, permits, and/or visas to legally work in Saudi Arabia for the duration of the assignment.
